RIP Rauschenberg

Journal Entry: Tue May 13, 2008, 9:07 AM
Some sad news today, the artist Robert Rauschenberg passed away yesterday -->[link]

I loved his work, and he has always been a big influence on me, as well to many others. The man went beyond the canvas and conventional thinking. Your going to see a big jump at the auction houses for his work.

Live on Bob!!!

We just went over some of his stuff today in my 20th Century Art History class. :(

If you ever get the chance, go see a retrospective of his work. I did a couple of years ago at the MOCA. He opened the floodgates, not doors, but floodgates, for so many artists.
